"Enslaved Love" by: Mikkal Wilson
The poem "Enslaved Love"by Mikaal Wilson is about his lost of love and he's begging to be taken back. In lines 10-12 Wilson begs her back "10.That only your heart can free me of 11. A love that's saddened and filled with fear 12.To be enriched by your loves sweet tear". He explains that his heart is broken and only she can fix it and make him happy again. In lines 1-3 he describes his pain as the ocean and a shipwreck. In line 4 He talks about his life as the shipwrecked. "4. Shipwrecked on lifes long mysterious course." In many occasions they symbolize the ship as a women, since he lost the women he loved therefore that is how he explains his shipwreck.
"Never Like This" by Karl Fuchs
The poem "Never Like this"by Karla Fuchs is about Fuchs being in love.She says in lines 1-2 "1.I've held others before 2.But it was never like this". She feels the difference and the joy being with this other person compared with others in here past.In lines 3-4 she describes how she trebles just to know that she's with him."3.Where my body inhales you4.And quivers with bliss".In lines 6-7 she explains the need to be with him."6.From the strength of desire 7.and if i can't have you soon i'll be consumed by the fire." Here Fuchs describes the need to see him and if she can't have the opportunity to be with him then she'll go mad.
