The poem 'Love Is' by Nikki Giovanni its about how in line 1 and 2 " love is tacking you in and kissing you".It means that love comes in many different forms. ln line 4 " no matter how young or old you are" love well never die no matter how old you may be. And it doesn't matter how old you are its for everyone. Lines 12,13,14, and 15 "no fun at all" "unless" "love is" "you and me" it isn't really fun or enjoyable if you don't have the one you love next to you. but the most important "love is you and me"
Analysis 2
The poem 'The Love I Lost' is about how the author lost his/her first love. And how they told the author how they loved him/her and it was just lies to them. The author got their heart broken by this person. When the one you love says "you and me forever and ever" in line 8. Also in line 10 "you never come in mind" it means at first it hurts you but then you forget that person.That person doesn't come to mind anymore. Because, at first it seem like this well be the one but then you lost that love you had.
